Park 2025
A collective performance for AIEP staged simultaneously in a park and online,
with the audience as participants rather than spectators.
The piece runs on a web platform built specifically for it: performers in the space, viewers wherever they are, and both feeding a single visualisation that only exists while the performance does.
We designed and built the platform and handled technical direction on site.

Distributed performance usually means a livestream with a chat box. This was closer to a shared instrument.
The design question was how much influence to give remote participants before the performers lose the thread. The answer was less than everyone wanted and more than felt safe.
