Macondo
Macondo's TikTok built a world for its clothes to live in: fifteen-second scenes, fashion-minded and openly strange, sometimes close to a freak show, where the shop is a set and the clothes are costumes for characters who do not exist.
The cast is mixed. MetaHumans, handmade plasticine figures and flat drawings share the same rebuilt shop, all of them openly artificial.
In one series the clothes leave the shop. The camera walks the city the way a phone does in Pokémon Go, and around a corner a character appears wearing pieces from one of eight looks, waiting to be collected like a rare find.

Elsewhere, plasticine characters trade absurd gossip, and a MetaHuman reads poems to camera in extreme close-up, one line at a time, a strange intimacy for an account that sells clothes.
