Solo Numeri
Studio Levriero is a tattoo studio in Milan, named after the dogs its founders live with and tattoo more often than anything else. Solo Numeri is the fundraiser it ran for greyhounds retired from the Irish tracks, a publication released in stages.

On a track a dog is a number. Registered as one, marked as one, an identification tattooed inside the ear long before anyone gives it a name. The title says only that, and it is where the film starts.
Its material is liquid: a primordial broth, unstable, fragile and moving at the same time. The greyhound forms out of it and dissolves back into it, so the weight of the life before and the possibility of another one run in the same current.
The animal is never drawn, only revealed. White matter pours over a body that surfaces in flashes of flesh and interference, holds for a moment, and goes. The publication was announced in phases, each with its own film by a different author. Ours holds the passage: from constraint towards something that can still become.
