A five-second Christmas film for FAI,
where the snow had to be built rather than filmed.
The brief began as a retouch: take the drone footage of the property and make it winter. Internal tests showed that manipulating the image alone reads as artificial, so we rebuilt part of the environment in 3D instead — elevation map, geometry, and snow simulated against the real camera move.
The scope was deliberately narrowed from two films to one, so the one could be done properly.

Five seconds leaves nowhere to hide. Every frame stays on screen long enough to be examined, which is why the reconstruction had to be geometric rather than painted.
Colour grading was extended across the surrounding clips so the sequence integrates, and a sound designer produced an original soundtrack with custom effects.
