Social & Studio website

Luca Bombassei Studio is an architecture practice whose work is mostly seen through photographs. Its website was rebuilt around those images, and its social channels run as a campaign of their own.

An inflight magazine and three street blocks.

The social direction is a fake merchandising campaign. If the studio were a commercial empire, its logo would land on everything around it: objects, billboards, cinemas, animals. The feed is the catalogue of that empire.

The mark goes where a fashion house would put it, at the same size and with the same confidence, on surfaces that sell nothing. An inflight magazine for an airline that never commissioned it. Three street blocks stencilled L B S. A sticker on an apple in a supermarket crate.

The feed, post by post.

Each post is one object and one placement. Real light, ordinary places, no wink to the camera, nothing in the frame touched except the mark. At a glance the feed passes for an ordinary campaign: an architecture studio behaving like a label inside the market it already works in.

The empire grows by accumulation. Between one post and the next the studio takes over an airline, a supermarket, a bicycle shop, a stretch of pavement, and the practice ends up with a voice on social that has nothing to do with renders and plans.

The website already existed. The redesign puts the images first: each project opens at the scale it was designed at, on mobile as much as desktop, with navigation and captions kept quiet.
