Venice Foundation
A website for a Venetian art foundation,
built so the current project is always the one you see first.
The foundation runs one macro-project a year with several strands underneath it, so the old split between ongoing and completed work had stopped meaning anything. We removed it.
The most recent project now leads the page and is flagged in the foundation's yellow, with everything else arranged behind it in sequence.
Project index with the current exhibition in first position.
Institutional sites usually organise around the institution. This one organises around what is happening right now, which is the only thing a visitor is actually looking for.
We handled structure, design and build, alongside the social output produced for the same client.
